Autumn is coming

With the change of seasons, there is plenty going on. School runs, working, keeping fit, doing this, doing that. With stores already stocking up for Christmas, I’m already feeling a slight panic setting in. and I haven’t even  finished the fruit harvest, the little home repairs indoors and outdoors and getting everything ready before the heating is switched on. Won’t be beaten by a bit of cold weather, will we now…?

Looking forward to misty mornings, hot tea and yummy cakes. and of course reflecting on what the future holds. Onwards and upwards, keeping positive no matter the weather.

Wanderlust

In the northern hemisphere summer is coming to a close. Soon the days will become shorter and layers of clothing part of the daily routine. However there are plenty of activities that make the autumnal season a wonderful one.

Long outdoor walks, admiring the tree colors changing from deep green to that beautiful Indian summery glow. Sitting down with a hot comforting drink, by a fire, enjoying the company with friends or family. Reading a book, baking pumpkin pie, celebrating the harvest. And of course dreaming and planning new adventures ahead, whether that’s a day trip to a new city, landmark, a weekend away, a holiday into the winter sun or having fun on the slopes.

I love the seasons and am always trying to find something fun to do whatever the weather. What is your favorite season?
